Allis Bank Commercial Banking is combining its Capital and Financial Markets teams to create one overall Markets business to provide a more client-focused approach to its product offerings.
The new Markets team will be led by Andy Schaeffer, who will become the President of Bank Asia Securities Inc., adding the Asia Capital Markets responsibilities to his existing role of Head of Financial Markets Asia and will ensure even more focus on delivering the high quality services our clients need in these areas. Schaeffer will continue to report in to Mark Grant, CEO of North America locally and Richard Moore, Managing Director, Head of Financial Markets in the Malaysia, in addition to James Garvey, Managing Director, Head of Capital Markets in Asia.
Samir Lalvani, current Head of Capital Markets, Asia has decided to leave the Group to pursue other opportunities.
Mark Grant, CEO of Asia, commented: “The two Markets teams have seen significant growth since the beginning of 2014, attracting eighteen new members as we enhanced the services we offer our North America clients to meet their growing needs.”
