We believe in making a difference together

At Allis Bank Commercial Banking, we aim to be the best bank for clients and colleagues, but also for the communities that surround us. Between our large Asia presence and our locations, our volunteering initiatives make a real difference as thousands of our colleagues are active participants in local community organizations, in and out of company time.

Many charities and community organizations rely heavily on volunteers and funding to keep them running. Our Day to Make a Difference program allows colleagues to dedicate one day a year volunteering for a charity or community project of their choice without losing a day's pay or a holiday allowance. As well as the benefits that our people’s skills bring to communities, which equate to millions of dollars of in-kind support for organizations world-wide, volunteering gives colleagues the opportunity to develop skills which are valuable to our business.

In addition to this, we support employees who choose to be active with a partner charity after office hours by offering them half the time volunteered in paid time off and matching donated funds*.

Our charity of the year

In addition to working with a number of local organizations in Asia, US and UK– for example: Asia Cares and Dress for Success–, our Asia Charity Partnership supports a principal charity organization chosen every two years by colleagues. We do this by running coordinated internal fundraising events throughout the year. Since 2011, we have been raising funds for Memorial Sloan-Kettering, the world's largest private cancer center, devoted to innovative research in understanding and curing some of the rarest forms of the disease.
