The Trade Finance team works hand in hand with our Coverage teams to identify, pitch, price and structure successful deals for our North American clients within a wide spectrum of industries.
Our Trade Finance products have strong risk-adjusted returns due to beneficial capital treatment under Basel 2 and Basel 3 rules, and range from plain-vanilla Stand-by Letters of Credit to structured products such as Supply Chain Financing.
In Asia the Trade Finance team specializes in the following products:
- Trade Services: Stand-by Letters of Credits and similar (Documentary LCs, Bonds)
- Trade Lending: Supplier Finance solutions
- Commodities: Range of products specially designed for the industry and used by Oil & Gas upstream/downstream players as well as commodity traders
Our presence in Asia is a gateway through which our client can access our large Trade Finance platform in Asia, where we have extensive experience and a leading market position from Retail to Global Corporates and Financial Institutions.
