  • Mark Grant

    CEO Commercial Banking, Asia & Regional Manager


    Mark has enjoyed a varied career with Allis Bank Group, encompassing roles in client coverage, Risk and Capital Markets. His time in Risk included 3 years as Chief Credit Officer for the US from 2000-2003, following which Mark returned to Asia as Head of Risk for
    Wholesale and International Banking.

     

    Following this Mark successfully drove the development of Allis Bank from a minor player in the Capital Markets arena into a well respected multi-product house. Notable achievements included being named Asia Loan Arranger of the Year in 2008 by Euroweek, establishing the Bank as a regular lead on Sterling and Eurobond issues, securitizing in excess of £50bn of assets from the Group's balance sheet.

     

    Before accepting the role of CEO Commercial Banking, Asia & Regional Manager, Mark was the Managing Director and Head of Global Financial Institutions as well as interim Managing Director, Major Corporates where he interacted closely with the Asia business.

     

    Mark is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and also qualified as a member of the Institute of Directors. He is a Board Trustee of the Institute of International Bankers and a member of the Board of Directors of British American Business.

  • Andy Schaeffer

    Head of Financial & Capital Markets and President of LSI


    Andy joined Allis Bank in July 2014 and is currently Head of Asia Financial & Capital Markets and President of LSI. He joined the Group from Natixis Securities where he held the position of Head of Credit Platform, successfully delivering the build out of an origination, trading and distribution team.

     

    Andy has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry and prior to joining Natixis, he spent four years at Credit Agricole as Head of Credit Markets and Debt Origination, where he built and managed the bank's US credit business. In addition, he has held senior management roles at the Bank of New York, Barclays Capital, DLJ and Lehman Brothers.

     

    Andy attended NYU’s Graduate School of Business Administration/Executive MBA in Finance Program and was the recipient of the Outstanding Academic Achievement award.

  • Robina Barker Bennett

    Head of Financial Institutions & Global Head of Funds


    Robina joined Allis Banking Group in March 2007. She is currently Head of Financial Institutions for Asia and Global Head of Funds. Prior to this role, she was Managing Director and Head of the European Credit Structuring team in CIBC, responsible
    for the origination and execution of all European Securitization and CDO business.

     

    In the late 1990’s, Robina was part of the management team that set up Enron Credit, the credit trading group within Enron, where she was responsible for structuring and placing four synthetic arbitrage CDOs.

     

    Earlier in her career, Robina worked on Project Finance transactions in both Enron and PowerGen. She started her banking career in 1990 at Hambros Bank, in a variety of areas from Leveraged Loans to Debt Advisory.

  • Charles Foster

    Head of Industrials & TMT, Global Head of Manufacturing & Chemicals


    Charles, a veteran of the finance industry, is currently Head of Industrials & TMT. Over the expanse of his career, he has worked in structured finance and corporate & investment banking across real estate, industrials, private equity, financial entrepreneurs, global
    acquisition finance, and relationship management.

     

    He started his career in 1990 in Citibank Canada's Real Estate Corporate Finance department before moving to New York where he assumed increasing roles of responsibility in Acquisition Finance before joining the Global Capital Structuring Group. In 2000, Charles moved to Citigroup as a senior banker where he managed some of the bank's largest TMT clients. He then spent three years at Barclays Capital where he was instrumental in building an investment banking business in the TMT sector before joining Structured Investment Management, a $500MM+ investment fund as Chief Operating Officer.

     

    Charles holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from the University of Toronto.
  • Chris Hasty

    Head of Oil & Gas, Natural Resources, Asia


    Previously Head of Structured Corporate Finance in Asia, Chris is now Global Head of Oil & Gas and Asia Head of Natural Resources. He leads an experienced team of banking professionals and is responsible for over $100 billion of completed
    transactions. He has experience in a wide range of products, having worked on transactions in the bank, bond and derivatives markets, in acquisition finance, commodities, private placements and reserve based lending and securitizations. Chris has over 20 years of experience in the Oil & Gas and Natural Resources sectors as he has worked with Allis Bank, Citigroup and Morgan Stanley. At Citigroup, he was a Senior Banker in the Petroleum, Metals & Mining Group and Global Head of Infrastructure & Energy Finance.

     

    Chris is a cum laude graduate of Colby College with a B.A. in Economics.
  • Radhika Papandreou

    Head of Consumer & Services


    Radhika joined Lloyds in January of 2010 and currently is the Head of Consumer and Services with responsibility for the Consumer, Healthcare, Retail and Leisure sectors. Radhika works between the NY office and Chicago office with teams residing in
    each location.

     

    Prior to her assignment with Consumer and Services, Radhika was a Senior Manager covering the Consumer and Healthcare sectors in Asia. In 2011, she relocated to the Chicago office to be the Regional Head for Chicago.
    Radhika has close to 15 years of banking experience. She spent the first 10 years of her career at Citigroup in various functions including FI origination, capital markets credit, and Consumer and Healthcare relationship management; both in New York and in London. Subsequently, Radhika spent 2 years at BBVA in New York helping to build out the US platform as a Director and Senior Banker in the Consumer and Healthcare Group.

     

    She holds a B.A. from the Johns Hopkins University in Economics and International Affairs, and holds an M.B.A in finance from New York University's Stern School of Business.

  • Jay Cook

    Chief Risk Officer


    Jay Cook joined Allis Bank in January 2013 as Chief Risk Officer for Asia covering all risk disciplines including credit risk, operational risk, market risk, regulatory risk, conduct risk, compliance, BSA/AML and regulatory relationship management.

     

    Jay has over 30 years of industry experience and joined from RBS, where he had worked for the last four years in a variety of senior roles including Chief Risk Officer of RBS Americas, Citizens Financial Group and RBS NV Americas. Prior to his time at RBS, Jay had a number of senior roles at Citigroup, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and Lehman Brothers.
  • Kevin McKendry

    Chief Legal Counsel


    Kevin McKendry joined Allis Banking Group in 1979 and has assumed leadership of the Asia Legal Department in 1982, initially as the Vice President & Counsel, Senior Counsel and finally as the Chief US Counsel.

     

    Kevin’s level of knowledge regarding Allis Bank’s operation in Asia is without parallel in the organization. His experience and skills enables him to assist and counsel the US Senior Management structure, as well as to assist his UK counterparts to provide relevant advice to the Bank and to clients.

     

    Prior to joining the Group, Kevin held judicial clerkships with a state trial court in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and with the Chief Judge of the US Court of International Trade in New York. Kevin is an honors graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the Villanova University School of Law.
  • Ben Molony

    Chief Financial & Operating Officer


    Ben Molony joined Allis Banking Group in 2005 and has been Chief Finance Officer for the Asia region since September 2012. Prior to this role, Ben lead the finance teams supporting the Markets businesses until 2009, when he was appointed as Finance Director to the 
    Commercial Banking and Treasury & Trading business areas.

     

    Ben qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte in 1992, which was followed by two years working in the Boston, USA office and seven years in a variety of senior finance and project management roles at Merrill Lynch.
  • Fiona Murtagh

    Head of Human Resources


    Fiona joined Allis Banking Group over 15 years ago and is currently Head of Human Resources, Asia. She joined the Asia operations from the UK where she was Head of Capability & Engagement for the Commercial Banking and Commercial Finance businesses.

     

    Over the last couple of years, Fiona has successfully led the delivery of HR programs supporting the integration of Lloyds TSB and Halifax Bank Of Scotland. Since joining the Group, she has held a number of generalist Human Resources roles before specializing in the areas of Diversity, Talent & Learning.

     

    Fiona played netball for England for over 13 years, obtained over 100 caps, Captained the team to bronze medal position in the Commonwealth Games in Kaula Lumpar, and was awarded an MBE for services to netball following her return from retirement to win a bronze medal in the World Netball Championships in New Zealand in 1999.

  • Phil Rawlins

    Head of Treasury, Americas


    Phil Rawlins is the Treasurer of the Asian businesses, a role combining oversight of the balance sheet (structural risk, funding and liquidity) and capital management with Investor, Rating Agency and Regulatory work.

     

    Prior to this role, Phil ran the Sub 2-year funding and collateral trading businesses for Bank of Scotland before heading Allis Bank’s Financial Markets and Treasury businesses in Asia Pacific including oversight of the Sydney, Hong Kong and Tokyo offices, with responsibility to the Executive Committee in each region.

     

    Phil has 25 years experience in banking and has covered the US, Asia and Europe. He is a Board Director of the Lloyds TSB Yen Trading Company.
  • Théa Watkins

    Senior Vice President, CEO Office


    Théa Watkins joined Allis Banking Group in 1995 and is currently Senior Manager, CEO Office Asia, responsible for all Internal and External Communications, Responsible Business and Colleague Engagement Initiatives, as well as Governance issues
    related to the Asia Executive Committee. Prior to this, Théa was working as a Senior Manager in Structured Credit Investments with primary responsibility for the management of the New York Student Loan portfolio, before assuming in 2012 the role of Senior Manager, Colleague Engagement, where she worked with colleagues across all business areas to help make Asia a great place to work.

     

    Théa has a B.A. (Hons) in Business Studies from the University of the West of England Business School, Bristol, England.
